Summary
Under the Licensing
Act 2003, anyone authorising the retail sale of alcohol will have
to hold a Personal Licence. The GQAL Level 2 National Certificate
for Personal Licence Holders is a nationally recognised qualification
for anyone wishing to apply for a Personal Licence.
There is a ready reference
handbook that supports the qualification.
The examination is
by multiple choice examination paper. Under normal circumstances
same day results* and a
free same day re-sit* are available. The examination
has one overall pass mark
- candidates must answer 35/50 questions (70%) correctly.
The awarding body is
the Graded Qualifications Alliance.
